"Saturday Night Life Giving Praise" "A time of love fellowship and friends" Historically, the American culture has been so structured that people think in terms of five days a week rather than seven, with the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) being thought as an entity unto itself. After putting forty hours into the average work week, Saturday nights for most people, rate high as being the best night to, "break loose and go out on the town." Unfortunately, Satan through his many wicked devices, alcohol, drugs, night clubs and other vain imaginations, has gotten into the pastimes people utilize to find a reprieve from the humdrum of daily existing. What is even more unfortunate is that for many Christians, particularly those who live alone in singlehood or single parenthood, they become victims of loneliness and depression as the weekend approaches. Feeling either left out altogether or dominated by their "old nature" these committed believers sometimes spend a Saturday evening languishing around in boredom or self pity. Although church on Sunday returns to them a sense of well being, it is often a struggle for these people to get through Saturday nights. God's children, both the young and the old, have never really been trained to handle Saturday nights. Earthly parents train their children to use their time wisely from Sunday through Friday, but many parents have never taken the time nor have they known how or what to do for their children when it comes to dealing with the all-important Saturday night. The word of God says to "train up your child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) The "Saturday Night Life Giving Praise" is designed to train, refresh, refine and refire all God's children. "Life Giving Praise" is about overcoming the devices of the wicked one who tries to steal, kill and destroy the joy of the believer. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, "Life Giving Praise" will help bring the peace of God to the unsettled soul. Through the life giving presence of the Holy Spirit, a quiet reverence and an obedient atmosphere is the setting that will break the curse of spiritual disobedience, depression, sickness, loneliness and unforgiveness.
